Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None with State College Community Theatre

And Then There Were None poster
In Sept. 2025, I will play Rogers in State College Community Theatre’s production of Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None. This production is the directorial debut of Eli Beers-Altman.
Rogers is a somewhat shifty servant, who might have a dark secret or two in his past. He and his wife (Mrs. Rogers) come to Soldier Island to serve as butler and cook, respectively, for the mysterious Mr. and Mrs. Owen. Rogers gets on with his work–although he leaves most of the cleaning to Mrs. Rogers–and tries to comfort his anxious spouse. But when things on Soldier Island start to get murdery, Rogers struggles to deal with the unexpected deaths.

Stefanie Austin’s For Better or For Worse With Sock & Buskin Theatre Company.

In February 2025, I will be playing Brian in Sock & Buskin’s murder-mystery party For Better or For Worse, written by Stefanie Austin. Brian and his wife Holly own a B&B and couples retreat that specializes in healing strained romantic relationships. The couple is into New-Age style spirituality, but all is not as seems, either with Brian and Holly or with the business. And when a murder occurs, it’s up to the party guests to try and figure out whodunnit.

Howard E. Koch’s The War of the Worlds: The 1938 Radio Script with Sock & Buskin Theatre Company.

In October 2024, I will read Professor Richard Pierson, an astronomer and survivor of the Martian attacks in Sock & Buskin’s production of The War of the Worlds: The 1938 Radio Script, directed by Henry Morello. This is the script from the famous Orson Welles production that legendarily started a panic amongst listeners who thought the invasion was real–though this panic is largely a myth.

D.D. Brooke’s Rehearsal for Murder with Sock & Buskin Theatre Company.

In September 2024, I played Ernie, the stage doorman, in Sock & Buskin’s production of Rehearsal for Murder, by D.D. Brooke. The show was directed by Stefanie Austin.

“Beginnings” Short Play Showcase with Sock & Buskin Theatre Company.
In PA playwright TK Tansey’s short play “The Next Thing,” I played Gene. Gene is hanging around an afterlife processing office when Jaime arrives, newly deceased. Jaime is freaking out, and Gene helps her cope with the transition…sort of.

In PA playwright Barbara Pease Weber’s short play “Tea with Her Majesty,” I performed Pierre. Pierre is the waiter at a fancy French restaurant, serving Narnia and Marcus on their first date. However, Marcus has lost his wallet, and he’s not sure how he’s going to pay for the meal. The show is directed by Melissa Brannen.

Kari Williamson and Nate Schierman’s Behind the Scenes at WBFR and Joe Landry’s It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, with Sock & Buskin Theatre Company.
In Dec. 2023, I performed with Sock & Buskin in Kari Williamson and Nate Schierman’s Behind the Scenes at WBFR and Joe Landry’s It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. I played Bert in Behind the Scenes and Freddie Filmore in It’s A Wonderful Life.
Williamson and Schierman have written the short prelude piece Behind the Scenes at WBFR to introduce the action in Landry’s play. Bert is the show’s producer, who is panicking because a snow storm has prevented many of the actors from arriving at the studio. He frantically tries to pull together a competent performance to impress the station manager, whose son is one of the actors. When he realizes that the announcer, Freddie Filmore, also hasn’t arrived, Bert is forced to take on that role, which begins and ends Landry’s play.

Becket Spams Counterstrike
In the spring of 2015, I played Hamm in the West Virginia University Center for Literary Computing performance Beckett Spams Counterstrike, in which we performed Samuel Beckett’s Endgame in the video game Counterstrike: GO. The performance involved both typing the dialogue into the chat boxes and saying the lines aloud in our performance space, jumping into new individual fights as one came to an end until we had finished the play.
